National African American Read-In at Bush Hill

Bush Hill ES celebrated Black History Month by hosting their first National African American Read-In! During the month of February, schools, communities, and interested citizens are urged to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month by hosting an African American Read-In. Volunteer readers were invited by Bush Hill ES to share books from African American authors with students!

McLean High School Student Named as Regeneron Science Talent Search Finalist
Ethan Zhou, a student at McLean High School, has been selected as one of 40 finalists in the 2023 Regeneron Science Talent Search. The competition is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors. This year’s finalists represent 34 schools across 14 states.
