End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June, 2020, Bush Hill’s SOA English combined pass rates for Black students will be 90%.

Strategy 1

  • We will effectively provide Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for students who aren’t meeting reading benchmarks.

Strategy 2

  • Ensure that black students experience a supportive classroom culture and positive relationships with their teachers.

Strategy 3

  • Build a collaborative relationship between families and schools as active partners for the purpose of increasing positive outcomes for student success and development.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June 2020, the percentage of the student population receiving an office referral for the 2019-20 school year will be at 15% or lower.

Strategy 1

  • We will provide multi-tier behavior interventions for students who are receiving office referrals.

Strategy 2

  • Teachers will provide a welcoming and nurturing classroom environments where students feel safe to build relationships with teachers and peers.

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June, 2020, the number of staff referrals for disruptive behavior will be decreased by 10% overall (420 total).

Strategy 1

  • We will develop and define a 2 leveled behavior referral system

Strategy 2

  • We will utilize Multi Tiered Systems of Support in order to identify students receiving a high number of referrals and develop a plan of interventions.
