A Note From Mrs. DuffyDear Families,
As the year 2024 draws to a close, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support and partnership in your child's education. It is a privilege to work alongside you in fostering a positive and enriching learning environment for all our students.
We are excited that winter break is just around the corner! School will be closed from December 23 to January 3.
During this time, the main office will also be closed, and staff will be unavailable to respond to emails or phone calls. We are encouraging our staff to use this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy quality time with their loved ones. We hope that you will be able to do the same!
We look forward to welcoming our students back to school on January 6th, refreshed and ready for the new year!
Wishing you all a joyous holiday season filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.
Sincerely,
Mary E. Duffy, Principal

January is Poverty Awareness Month
Each January, we observe Poverty Awareness Month, an opportunity to reflect on the challenges faced by the millions who struggle daily to survive and provide basic needs for themselves and their families. However, awareness alone will not solve this crisis. We must combine reflection with action — through advocacy, volunteerism, and donations — if we aim to make meaningful progress in alleviating poverty within our lifetimes.
Silent Auction & Bingo Night - Can you spare an hour of time?
Bingo night and Silent Auction are coming in February. We are actively soliciting for donations. Can you spare an hour a week to reach out to local businesses or pick up donated items?
We ask you to consider your talents, skills, and professional background and consider donating your time in the form of a ‘service.’ Are you someone who works with your hands and could donate your time to build or create something for a fellow Bush Hill family? Are you an artist, a chef or restaurant owner, a small business owner? Do you know someone who could donate their time or services?
